Life is weird.
It's like for every good thing that happens there is something (or somethings) that make it less sweet. Like today I got my learner's permit, but I'm writhing in awful pain from my growing wisdom teeth (and I had to sit in the RMV for 2 hours....ugh, hell on earth). I get to do a lot of my work on my laptop in front of the television, but I'm getting wrist pains. But that's nothing, it's just me complaining and wishing my body wasn't so...in pain all the time.
The big thing that happened is I got into the South End Open Market, or SOWA, a craft/artisan's fair every Sunday in Boston. They judge your work before they accept you. I applied on a whim, sure they wouldn't take me. Now I'm in for 7 dates, $50 a pop. But this is great, I can sell lots of things and I huge a potential to make a bunch of money. But oh, first I need a tent and weights, to make new items, to keep my creative flow flowing nonstop, and for credit cards to stop lowing our limits. I guess what I mean by something happening is having a lack of money in every direction I look, and a need for money in every direction x10. Story of the year.
It's just depressing at times when things seem insurmountable. But I got my 4 cats, a rabbit, a husband; I'm in grad school, I'm keeping my business alive. I have health care and satellite tv. And Bridget Jone's Diary is on, and things can't be worse than her life (however fictional).
